Idleness is all evil is a famous saying. Who is doing nothing and enjoying the day and life is looked at by many others wrong. Finally, we are living in a meritocracy. Only one performance. Industriousness is known as a German virtue, and for centuries we are trained to do so. It is on exposing anything. But: In peace lies strength.

Breathing pauses are important.

We need in our hectic, breathless time and breaks. Breathing is especially important because it speeds up the life more and we no longer come at some point. We will take the right for no more time, we move quickly to buy clean, fix the kitchen and eat a quick snack. And when we’re done, it must be done immediately otherwise. The best way to do multiple tasks at once: Multitasking is a buzzword of our time and a sought-after property. It is very unhealthy. Scientists have shown that the human brain is not designed for it. We demand too much of us.

It is regarded as admirable, if someone works through and grant no pauses. However, nothing is a luxury that fewer and fewer people to afford. A fatal mistake. Peace and idleness is a basic need that we not only can move to the holiday that so often back then degenerates into stress. And mothers have anyway never leave.

Constant Stress is harmful to health

But who is constantly energized, permanently damaging his health. Back pain, tinnitus, hypertension, gastrointestinal problems and psychological problems such as burn-out and depression are diseases that are often triggered by stress. Therefore, it is vital that we take regular time-outs to recharge the batteries. Each person has only a certain amount of reserves and if we want to stay healthy, we must be careful that we do not impoverish us completely.

Spa to refuel

Decelerate means to slow the magic word, speed. Simple times be lazy and do nothing: That feels good. Most are short spa vacations. As is often enough to have a weekend with massages and relaxing atmosphere refueling.
