Damaged Hair? Do You Have The Signs?
Hair is like a valuable crown so we need to take a good care of it. But sometimes if we took a wrong step in taking care of our hair, it could lead to hair damage. Damaged hair is mostly caused by blow-drying, too much sun exposure, harsh shampoos, wind and chemical treatments. Using hair dye and changing your shampoo frequently can also lead to damage hair. You can tell your hair is damaged when you have one or all of these signs – rough hair texture, over-porosity, dryness, brittleness, split ends, no elasticity or susceptible to breakage, becomes spongy and matted when wet, the color fades or absorbs too rapidly.

Use conditioners that are pH balanced, rich with protein and can restore moisture to treat your hair. This will help to smooth the cuticle layer and protect the hair shaft from further damage. You can get more protein by eating fish, meat, etc. Do not comb or brush your hair when it is still wet. Use moisturizer or leave-in conditioner when your hair is still wet because your hair best absorbs moisture when it is wet or damp. Continue the treatment by using conditioner that is moisture-rich every week until your hair show some improvement but do not stop taking a good care of your hair!
